This is it, the moment of truth. At 1:41 this afternoon I started sending out query letters. It's nerve wracking, and frankly makes me spazzy.
I can't stop checking my email.
Here's to hoping...
I'll keep everyone updated.

Meet motherscraft
You can visit her shop here.... www.motherscraft.etsy.comThis shop is adorable! I have two daughters and they love this shop. With cute, innovative ideas, (check out her I spy pillow) and clean lines, this shop is a keeper! :)
1.) What's your favorite item in your store and why?

My favorite item in my shop has to be my polar bear candy cane holder. I know it's still early to think about Christmas but he's just so darn cute. He looks like he's licking the candy cane. I just love him.
2.)What item has surprised you the most, and why?

I'm always in awe of my FSL bookmarks. They are stitched out on my embroidery machine on wash-away stabilizer. Some take up to an hour to stitch. When the design is done I wash out all stabilizer and let dry. Then press with an iron. I just love the detail in them.
3.) What made you decide to sell on Etsy?
I signed up with Etsy in Oct. 2005 but really started selling in Nov. 2007. Being a SAHM I was looking for a little extra spending cash and something to do at home. My wonderful husband bought me an embroidery machine and that's where it started. I love making things and the joy it brings to others.

4.) Please tell us a little about yourself.
I am a SAHM from NE Ohio. I have three lovely daughters that you would think were decked out in embroidered goodness, but are not. I rarely make them anything, usually they just get my prototypes. Lol! They don't seem to mind. My husband is a teacher for our local middle school. And yes...He's home ALL summer! I like having him around though! I also turn 27 on July 27th!Most of my items are made using my embroidery machine. Even my crayon holders are made this way. I just love the fact that I can make cute items using my machine and all the measuring is done for me.

Ever wonder what a first draft looks like?

LOL the title says it all... have you ever wondered what a first draft of a novel looks like?
Well wonder no more, cause here you go! :)
I also received the headset for my laptop today, it should be interesting to see how voice to text works. So far, I'm not convinced. Anyone else have any experience with it?

All Done

Really horrible pic of the blackboard, but you get the idea.
Overlook the hideous curtain..... (Can we say MIL has some tacky taste?)
You can see my massive horde of books, and to be honest, there's quite a few more. There's books behind all those books and boxes under the pull out part of the sofa..... hoping hubby don't find those.
This is my daughters picture. She said it's both sides of her. Interesting no? LOL She's such a cutie.
Give me an hour and tell me to make a cushion and this is what I come up with. I have to say, I like it quite a bit. :)
